In the light of the emerging crisis in Ukraine, St Mary’s & Christchurch is holding a special appeal for funds to assist refugees fleeing the conflict.
All money collected will be passed to the Disasters Emergency Committee appeal, which the Government has pledged to match pound for pound up to a total of £20 million.
The total sent to the DEC Ukraine appeal so far is £2,850, of which £732 was raised from the craft stall sales. The appeal is still open, and the simplest way to give is via the Church’s bank account, with the reference ‘Ukraine’. Thank you so much for your support.
