BTP2 is Underway!

Building work began on Monday 5th January and is expected to last 12 weeks.

The church office has relocated to the meeting room at the rear of the church hall and can be accessed from the fire doors during office hours 11am - 3pm weekdays. the phone number remains unchanged as 01353 659550.

Temporary Toilets are placed in front of the hall on the patio area.
There is one accessible toilet with a baby change unit, which has ramp access, lighting, hot water and heating.
The other unit contains 2 individual toilet cubicles with step access; which also have hot water and lighting.

For the duration of the building work there is no direct indoor access between the church and hall.

📖 Journey Through Scripture This Lent: Join The Bible Course
This Lent, St. Mary’s Ely invites you to embark on a transformative journey through the grand narrative of Scripture with The Bible Course, developed by the Bible Society.
Beginning Tuesday 3rd February, we’ll gather in the Church Hall from 7.30 to 9pm for eight weekly sessions that bring clarity, connection, and fresh insight into the Bible’s sweeping story—from Genesis to Revelation.
Whether you’re new to Scripture or looking to deepen your understanding, this course offers:

✨ A clear overview of the Bible’s structure and themes
🎥 Engaging video teaching and group discussion
📱 Access to digital resources and a beautifully designed course book
🙌 Space to ask questions and grow in faith together

Each session explores key moments in the biblical story—like the rise of Israel’s kings, the prophetic call to justice, and the hope of restoration—helping us see how every part fits into God’s unfolding plan.
Come with curiosity, come with questions, come as you are. Let’s discover how the Bible speaks into our lives today with wisdom, challenge, and grace.

Lent Worship Nights

Lent invites us to slow down and return to the heart of worship. With multiple services and full Sunday mornings, it can be difficult to linger — but that doesn’t mean we don’t need it - our souls still need space to be restored in God’s presence. These evenings are simple: extended, Spirit-led worship, a short teaching moment on worship to help go deeper and grow in our understanding and practice of worship, and space to remain before the Lord. Whether you’re confident or curious, you’re welcome. Come expectant.
